A new pact between the French government, service providers and the music industry will see P2P users in France risk loosing their internet connections if they download music or films illegally.

Interesting development, this really doesn’t surprise me coming from the country in which you need a license to design websites, and is pretty strict when it comes to the law. Imagine if other countries did this?

Just picked up a Griffin itrip today - this thing is awesome!

For those of you who don’t know, this is an FM transmitter that allows you to stream audio from your ipod to any nearby radio. Plug it into the ipod, play a song, and it displays an FM radio frequency on-screen (you can also select your own frequency). Then tune in on the radio - e.g. in the car, and voila, listen to your music without wires.

This is the best solution I have found to have essentially portable wireless speakers for an ipod, which is what I was looking for.

I listen to quite a bit of music and podcasts - especially when traveling, so I bought these QuiteComfort 3’s in San Francisco a few days ago. Wow. They’re awesome. Great audio quality, and they almost silence jet engines.

So if like me you like to listen to music and podcasts on the go, I highly recommend these headphones.
